Per ancient protocol in selecting a King, descendants of the original members of the House of Nobles as established by King Kamehameha III, selected Edmund Keli‘i Silva Jr. to reign as Ali‘i Nui Mō‘ī, High Chief and King of and for The Kingdom of Hawai‘i. His Royal Genealogy goes back to the beginning of time in a long line of Kings and High Chiefs before King Kamehameha the Great united the Hawaiian Islands as The Kingdom of Hawai'i. His lineage is also popularly known as that of King Kekaulike, the King of Maui and the father of Kamehameha Nui ‘Ai Lu‘au, his 6th generation great grandfather. The Maui Kingdom was ancient Hawai’i’s most powerful and significant Kingdom. It comprised the most undisputed Divine Royal Lineage whose origins derived from the most ancient birthrights (Ni‘au pi‘o, or sanctified lines) of all of Hawai‘i. (See more in the Royal Biography below.)

On November 22, 2002, the Prime Minister, Council of Regency, Na Kupuna Council O‘Hawai‘i Nei and Na Kupuna Council Hawai‘i Moku (Royal Kupuna House of Nobles) proclaimed Edmund K. Silva Jr. to be the lawful successor and Ali‘i Nui Mō‘ī (High Chief and King) of The Kingdom of Hawai‘i.

Queen Emma prophesied that a sacred child (Ni‘au pi‘o, or sanctified lines) would come forward to restore The Kingdom of Hawai‘i. It was determined by the Council that Edmund Keli‘i Silva Jr. was that child and Mikahala Roy, the King’s royal Kapuna, announced the King’s sacred Hawaiian name to be:

Nalikolauokalani Paki - Ka-‘i-‘omaka-ola-hou-Kaluaokalani-

ka-‘i-mano-‘anu‘unu‘u-ka-lama-kea-i-ho‘oku-ke-aupuni-o-Hawai‘i.

The King now indicates his name as King Paki-Silva in every day Kingdom matters to honor his heritage and sacred name which came from the Paki line of his ancestry.

The King holds a law degree and has been a Federal Judge for the Aniyvwiya Cherokee Nation. This legal experience has served him well as he works towards restoration of The Kingdom of Hawai‘i as the country it has always been.

The United States participated in the 1933 Montevideo Convention on Rights and Duties of States where a common definition of a country was determined. In Article 1 it defines a country (state) under international law as possessing four qualifications – a permanent population, a defined territory, a government and the capacity to enter into relations with other states. The King has further strengthened the country’s status by initiating Treaties with other countries, reorganizing the government into a modern format based on ancient traditions, actively working with Kingdom business around the world and being recognized globally as the dedicated leader of the Kingdom of Hawai‘i.

His Royal Majesty Bio

"I am honored, and consider it my sacred duty, to be Ali‘i Nui Mō‘ī  of The Kingdom of Hawai‘i."HRM, Edmund Keli'i Paki-Silva Jr.

His Majesty Edmund Keli‘i Silva Jr., Ali‘i Nui Mō‘ī, Sovereign King of the Kingdom of Hawai‘i, is the rightful heir to the sacred royal bloodline of Hawai‘i’s ancient ruling chiefs. A descendant of King Kamehameha I through the sacred line of Ali‘i Nui Mō‘ī and the royal House of Keawe, King Silva’s genealogy is deeply rooted in the highest echelons of Hawaiian nobility. His lineage dates back to 316 AD, verified through oral tradition and royal genealogical records protected and passed down by priesthood orders and royal courts across generations.

Raised in the traditions of sacred Hawaiian leadership, King Silva was formally recognized and ceremonially affirmed by High Priestess Mikaelah Roy and the Royal Priesthood, confirming his ancestral and spiritual entitlement to kingship. He descends from lines that include King Kekualike of Maui and the ancient Kingdom of Kaua‘i, and his royal claim is supported by Queen Emma’s prophetic declarations concerning the rightful heir to restore the Kingdom of Hawai‘i.

Beyond his royal heritage, King Silva is a distinguished scholar and spiritual leader, holding multiple advanced degrees. He earned his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Leadership from Rockfield College of Management, Switzerland, graduating summa cum laude. His dissertation, Indigenous Intuitive Education Model, has been adopted internationally as a model for Indigenous learning. He also holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Word in Action Ministry College of Law and numerous doctoral degrees in theology, political science, law, human rights, and metaphysical science.

King Silva’s academic and spiritual mission is matched by his martial discipline. He is a Grandmaster of Chi Kung Tung Kung-Fu, a 9th Degree Black Belt in Filipino martial arts, and has been inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame. His discipline and philosophy have earned him the title “Peaceful Warrior of Light.”

He served in the United States Army with Top Secret NATO clearance, later becoming a spiritual ambassador, Indigenous rights advocate, and diplomat for peace. He is the founder of the Aloha ‘Āina Project, a visionary initiative to revitalize and heal the Hawaiian Islands through sustainable infrastructure, education reform, housing, public health, and restoration of sacred lands and spiritual values.

Despite political persecution and wrongful imprisonment in the 1990s, His Majesty maintained his dignity and commitment to truth. He was sentenced to 24 years for a crime he did not commit—an injustice legally contested and now acknowledged by legal scholars and representatives of the Kingdom of Hawai‘i.

Today, King Silva remains a symbol of resilience, faith, and righteous leadership. He continues to work tirelessly to restore the spiritual and sovereign dignity of Hawai‘i, advocating globally for Indigenous peoples, peace-building, and educational justice. His life is a fusion of ancestral power, academic excellence, martial mastery, and spiritual vision—a living embodiment of ali‘i leadership in the modern world.
